The last match of the calender year 2017 is one for FC Utrecht to quickly forget. The Domstad players suffered a 3-1 defeat against NAC Breda in the Rat Verlegh Stadium. 
 
It is a goal that sparks hope. There are still fifteen minutes to play in the Eredivisie match NAC Breda – FC Utrecht and being down 2-0 is reduced to 2-1. It is Cyriel Dessers himself who performs optimally in the stadium in Breda and scores on behalf of the Utrecht squad.
